What it looks like

The app

Real screens, with a fortnight of readings behind them.

Today screen
TodayLive heart rate, HRV, resting rate, load and last night — each showing what it was worked out from.
Aurora theme screen
Aurora themeEight visual directions ship in the app. Same numbers, different temperament.
Trends screen
TrendsDay over day, against your own average — because one night tells you almost nothing.
Last night screen
Last nightDuration, efficiency, disturbances, and estimated REM, light and deep as a hypnogram.

Wear it. That’s the whole routine.

Daily use

No button to press, no session to start. Put the strap on, and in the morning your night is waiting for you.

Know whether to push today

A readiness score each morning, built from your own baseline — not a stranger’s average.

Your sleep, worked out for you

When you fell asleep, when you woke, how much you actually got. It notices on its own.

A history that stays yours

Every night kept on your phone. No account, no cloud, nothing that expires when you stop paying.

It works with the strap you already have

Nothing leaves your phone

Privacy

There’s no account to make and no server holding your heart rate — because there’s no server at all.

If you want a backup, it goes to your own iCloud, the private part only you can open. It’s off until you switch it on.

Pay once. That’s rather the point.

Price

An app charging a subscription to escape subscriptions would deserve everything it got.

Free, always

$0

Live heart rate and today’s numbers, with any strap you own.

One-time

$19

Sleep, trends, readiness and backup. Indicative price — not on sale yet.

Built by measuring, not guessing

Why trust it

The first night it recorded, Yawp found that its own heart-rate variability was twice the real figure — and it was fixed before anyone saw it. Every number in the app shows what it was worked out from, so you can tell a measurement from a guess.
